Both Computer Science and Computer Engineering are difficult degrees. They deal with different areas of Mathematics (logical proofs and data structures for CS, calculus for CE) and aren't a great choice for students who want to take it easy and focus more on enjoying college life.
Is it hard to study computer science engineering?
So, while it does require dedication, motivation, and lots and lots of time, once you get to the point where you invest the time required, learning the discipline of Computer Science is not much harder than many other science or engineering disciplines.
Is computer science more difficult than engineering?
Computer engineering is harder than computer science but not by much. A computer engineering degree is more difficult than a computer science one because you have to take more math courses, additional electrical engineering classes, and several practical lab sessions.
Is CSE really tough?
CSE is very easy for those who are interested to work on programming language. It is not only about programming it's all about understanding the machine also. So it is easy if we understand the machine. CSE is very easy for those who are interested to work on programming language.
Is computer science a lot of math?
Math is an essential component of computer science which underpins computing and programming concepts. Without it, you would find it challenging to make sense of abstract language, algorithms, data structures or differential equations. All of which are necessary to fully appreciate how computers work.

Can an average student pass CSE?
Yes, an average can do CSE. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a branch of Engineering which deals with programming and is completely software side. It depends mainly on coding. If you are interested in coding then you can go with CSE.
Is CSE easiest branch?
CSE is considered to be an easy branch academically as the syllabus of CSE is comparatively easy as compared to other branches, especially core branches like Electrical or Mechnical engineering. However, there is a lot of practical things in the CSE, every week new framework new technology comes.
Which branch is easy in btech?
But it is believed that CSE branch is the easiest thing to do, because it does not contain like material science, thermal science design of machine, and other such topics. These are considered difficult topics. All the branches are easy if, you are interested. But compare to all the branches CSE is more easy.
Do computer engineers get paid well?

Does coding require math?
Programming doesn't require as much math as you might think. It's far more important to understand the concepts of math that give coding its foundations. Often, you may not even be writing code that uses math. More commonly, you'll use a library or built-in function that implements an equation or algorithm for you.
Which engineering uses the least math?
Computer Engineering. require less math than EE or ME. Job prospect: Software engineer for some hardware company. Math skills not as important as understanding the underlying hardware system, problem solving and programming.
Which engineering has the most math?
